The Black Stars of Ghana lives for Abuda Dhabi in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) to start their pre-tournament training prior to this year AFCON in South Africa.
Before the Christmas festivities Head Coach James Akwasi Appiah named his 26 provisional man squad which arched the eye of some football lovers due the exclusion of the general captain, John Mensah, Sulley Muntari and Jordan Ayew.
But all said and done, the provisional 26-man squad will be further be pruned to 23 man team immediately after the training tour.
In the course of the training tour, the Black Stars will slug it out with Carthage of Eagles from Tunisia and the Pharaohs of Egypt on the 10th and 13th of this very month.
The stars are paired in Group B with Mali, DR Congo and Niger.
