ASHANTIGOLD DRAWS WITH BEREKUM CHELSEA

Ashanti gold were held to a pulsating 1-1 drawn game by Berekum Chelsea on Sunday at the Len Clay Sports Stadium as the first round of the Glo Premier came to a halt.

Louis Agyemang shot the miners into the lead in the 7th minute of the first half but Edward Kpodo in 23 minutes later restored parity for the visitors Berekum Chelsea.




Ashanti gold finished the first round fourth on the league standings with 24 points, a point behind third place Berekum Chelsea.
