RTU LOST AT HOME

By Ebenezer Zor
Real Tamale United hope of winning their first home match this season was thwarted after losing 2 – 0 to league leaders Medeama SC at the Tamale Stadium on Sunday.

The game was an end to end action for both teams. Daniel Larbi Koomson could have drawn the first blood for the visitors but was denied by the crossbar in the ninth minute.

RTU created a lot of chances but luck was not on their side to convert them into their opponent net.

Goalkeeper Joseph Ham for Medeame was unconscious after engaging in a very crucial challenge against his own player and that of RTU player in the penalty box in the 36th minute of the first half.

Two goals from Kabiru Moro and Mas ud  Suleman both in each half were enough for Bashir Hayford side Medeama to still maintain the top spot with 13 points.

Mossart Adjetey, Cephas Awornu and Bismark Asiedu came in as substitutes for Joseph Ham, Eric Nyarko and Kabiru Moro all Medeama.

RTU Aminu Mohammed, Abdulai Karim made way for Richard Adjetey and Ibrahim Sanni respectively.
