Out of eight home matches, four clubs won at home the Glo premiership in the week eight fixtures recording a total of 19 goals. Dwarfs handed Chelsea their biggest and heaviest 4 – 1defeat at the Robert Mensah Sports Stadium. It was Dwarfs first match of the season at home after serving a 12 match ban for crowd violence.
 

Liberty lost 2 – 0 to Accra Hearts of Oak whiles Edubiase pulled a 2 – 0 victory over RTU. 

Similarly Aduana tamed Lions by 2 – 0. Ashantigold’s wound was deepened as they lost 1 – 0 Arsenals. It was Arsenals first win of the season.

Medeama were held to a 2 – 2 drawn game by Amidaus at the Tarkwa T & A Park. King Faisal drew goalless with Wa All Stars at the Baba Yara Stadium.
 

Then, Tema Youth lost 2 – 1 to defending champions Kumasi Asante Kotoko  adding up to 126 goals scored recorded in the ongoing premier league.
