Carl Parick Ofori Aboagye showed class against Ebenezer Zor in the grand finale of the first edition of the Pink Fm Sports challenge to win the converted prize last Saturday at Pink Fm Studios.
He scooped 350 points as to 105 marks of Ebenzer Zor to earn a 32 inch LCD television whiles Ebenezer went home with a rice cooker as a consolation.
The competition which started from 15th September to 15th December 2012 saw 35 competitors picked out of the 64 who applied initially. Later the 35 participants were further grouped into four.
These two finalists who are freelance journalist stood peerless right from the group stages till the grand finale where luck eluded Ebenezer for Aboagye to carry the day.
Gordon Addai Baffour, general manager of the frequency thanked the sports team comprising of Prince Appiah Kubi (Mayor),Samuel Obeng (Executive Producer) Nana Yaw Asare, host of the sports Challenge (Dr. Nayas), Janet Adutum (Presenter), programmes director David Simpson not forgetting listeners for the tumultuous support from the onset.
He added that subsequent editions shall be mind-blowing so sports fans should get ready to embrace it.
