PREVIEW: CHELSEA TAKES ON KOTOKO

 By Ebenezer Zor (ezee)
With four matches to end the first round, the Glo Premier League continues this weekend with Hearts of Oak and Aduna Stars taking centre stage at the Accra Sports Stadium. Accra Hearts lies 12th on the league with 12 points out of 11 matches whiles Aduana sits on the summit of the table with 22 points out of the total matches played. A win for Aduana Stars will not bode well for the Phobians.

At the Robert Mensah sports stadium Ebusua Dwarfs will host Amidaus in another dicey encounter. Dwarfs have not lost in their last five matches as they lie second with one point behind league leaders. Amidaus might want to build up their points as they currently lies eight with 14 points.

RTU, sitting at the foot of the table travel to Kumasi to improve on their poor form so far having conceded 21goals in 11 matches but could also go down to rekindle King Faisal as they continue to serve their ban playing as visitors to Faisal.

The Chelsea and Kumasi Asante Kotoko on Sunday is arguably the biggest match of the weekend as both sides won their previous games look to bounce back and stay in contention for the top.

But the stakes, though, appear high for Chelsea as they seek to end defending champions and still unbeaten side in the season Kotoko come match day 12.

Chelsea will want to capitalize on their win against RTU when they meet at the Golden City Park.

In Wa, Kwesi Nyantakyi side Wa All Stars will come face to face against Berekum Arsenals in a match dubbed as fit for the gods.

New Edubiase will be seeking to build on their poor performance which saw them lost to Amidaus Professionals when they welcome Ashanti gold at the Gyamfi Park, Bekwai.

After their sunday disappointment when they lost, Berekum Arsenals will make a short journey to play as visitors to Medeama SC at the T & A Park in Tarkwa. Both teams lost their last respective matches and it will be a battle of the losers.

Then the harbour boys Tema Youth will welcome the borbor lads Kpando Hearts of Lions to the Tema artificial park.
