CENTRAL PARENT PRIDE WINS NUNU FESTIVAL

Central Parent Pride School have been crowned officially as winners of the two days 6th Nunu talent hunt sports festival 2012/2013 which ended last Friday at Kasoa in the Central Region. They took away a trophy with some products from the sponsors.
 
The festival saw 13 schools out of 14 grouped to play preliminary duels before qualifying to the subsequent stage of the competition.
 
Central stand tall through to the finals where they won 3 – 2 on penalties against Barbara Johnson School at the Zatuna Sports Complex after barring score line in both halves of soccer fiesta.
 
Elsewhere, third position in the form of boxes of Nunu items and Indomie Instant Noodles went to Praise Academy for a 2 – 1 penalties defeat over Pentecost Preparatory school for the third and fourth place respectively.

At this stage,  Francis Ghartey of Pentecost Preparatory school received the best player prize along side a foot from Erke Sports Ghana and full one year scholarship to study computer with NIIT at Kasoa.
 
*Sanni Dogbey
Joseph Prah of Barbara Johnson fame became the discovery player of the festival whiles 12-year-old Sanni Dogbey from Great Leaders School received the youngest player award. The fair play team was given to Light of God School and then the best supporting team to Pentecost Preparatory School.
 
Meanwhile participating schools were given certificates for their immense contribution towards the festival. 

Later event organizer, Mr. Emmanuel Williams thanked all and sundry for their tumultuous support and announced that subsequent edition will be held at the Accra Sports Stadium next year.
