I HAVE CONFIDENCES IN THE BOYS SAYS APPIAH

Coach James Akwasi Appiah’s provisional 26 man squad for the Black Stars of Ghana prior to the 2013 African Cup of Nations Cup (AFCON) in South Africa starting from January 19th to February 10th has sprouted several comments and the latest to have a bite on the issue is Pink Fm head of sports broadcasting journalist.

Mr. Prince Appaih Kubi lauded the manner in which Coach James employed to the select the 26 man squad which will be prune to 23 man team.

Speaking in an interview, Mr. Kubi also known as “Mayor” on the stereo believes the list released some days ago was genuine without any influence on Coach Appiah from stakeholders.

Dilating on the entire squad he explained the three goalkeepers comprising of Adam Kwarasey, Daniel Adjei and Fatau Dauda are the best we have and could perform marvelously when given a chance.

And being a presenter in addition, he noted that the current defence men are equally tremendous and with their individual composure could make it a little tough for Coach Appiah to choose any for a duel.

“The presence of Anthony Annan, Derek Boateng, Andre Dede Ayew, Emmaunel Agyemang Badu, Kwadwo Asamoah and others in the midfield cast my mind back to the old days of the likes of Stephen Leroy Appiah, Michael Essien and Sulley Muntari, even though they are exclusive” he added.

Sharing his view on three players whom should be withdraw, he revealed that he cannot single any one out since all of them are good materials in fact the best Coach Appiah has selected to clinch the continental wear for  Ghana in 31 years.

“I have confidence in the boys” he concluded.
