DONT TAKE US FOR A RIDE- GFA

Why Estadio Universitario De Lisbon used for Cape Verde and Ghana international friendly last Wednesday in Lisbon, Portugal?

I am highly worried and disappointed in the Ghana Football Association (GFA) concerning the usage of a university sports park to host the Black stars friendly against the Blue Sharks of Cape Verde.

The school park was not standard let alone to train on it. I watch the match and realized the turf was undulating making it cumbersome for the players to handle the ball.

I don’t want to believe that all was about the reward involved in the friendly instead of one way or the  other inspecting the venue for match on the side of the GFA and the organizers.

For crying out loud, the Black Stars does not deserve playing on school parks because is off their limit. If it were only school parks, then GFA should have proposed Legon Park,    KNUST Park, Ajax Park, Berekum Golden City Park, just to mention a few for the friendly.

The Lisbo Park did not picture the match as an international friendly rather as an inter college fun game hence a total waste of resources.

Frankly speaking, Ghana would have made some revenues if the game was honoured even at the Obuasi Len Clay in Ashanti Region.

I am appealing to the authorities that the pedigree of Black Stars should from henceforth befit the sort of field needed not just any park.
