Black Stars head coach James Kwesi Appiah says he has plans for Micheal Essien ahead of the 2013 AFCON in South Africa.
He made this assertion when rumour pervaded that Real Madrid star Micheal Essien has snubbed him in telephone conversation.
Kwesi revealed that he normally engage the foreign players in some chit-chat and for the case of Essien it has been six months he spoke to him.
According to Kwesi, Micheal Essien code name as the ‘The Bull’ in the sports fraternity wants the nation to be patient about his come to the team since he is on loan at Real Madrid.
Speaking to an Accra base radio station, Happy Fm yesterday he said, Essien is yet to settle with Jose Mourinho’s Real Madrid adding that “when all is set he will come and offer his service to the nation ahead of AFON 2013 in South Africa.
James Kwesi Appiah repeated that Micheal Essien did not snubbed him.
