Focus on world cup qualifiers; drop the ayews' issues

There is a saying that,” a mother thinks her child is leopard for strength” knowingly that her bone and mind are matured to embark on adventurous assignments.

I say this pertaining to GFA decision of saying no to the Dede and Jordan Ayew whose news is the latest on the block after they had put in the resignation letter from the senior national team.

It is very vivid, GFA is always seen begging for players who sky-rocket themselves in the form of either putting in a temporal or permanent retirement letter from the senior national team and later bounce back at a time they wanted. This is ridiculous.

Frankly speaking, GFA and the management have not done so well when it comes to issues of players’ temporal retirement over years. Their archaic method of rectifying players’ indiscipline has achieved nothing but abysmal solutions crippled with poor managerial skills.

If a player irrespective of where he plies his trade for in his right frame of mind has table a resignation letter, it clearly shows how satisfied he is for contributing his quota to the national team for some time. After all are they the only players for the team?

It is high time such gross indiscipline and over exercised egos of players be put in their right proportions to serve as deterrent to others.

Any attempt to hold talks to bring such a players  back into the team always picture the players’ to be special that Ghana cannot produce any caliber of their  kind making them feel like a ‘god’ hence gross indiscipline becoming the other of the day.

In time memorial, most players who excelled on the ticket of the national team turn to treat the nation with dirt whiles GFA will be busily resolving issues without using stringent measures to curb this notoriety emerging from the players.

Assuming the conversational goes well, imagined how the relationship will be with entire players and the technical bench.  I beg to differ it will not augur well since a team is made up of 11 players not two individuals because others would opined that those Ayews’ claim to be better than them due to tht mindset they want be ready to give out their best.

Of course, we all felt the absence of Dede and Jordan at the 2013 AFCON in South Africa but Ghana for that matter the football circuit cannot  condone indiscipline in the senior national team especially where it has a World Cup qualifier against Sudan this month at the Kumasi Baba Yara Sports Stadium.

This issue is likely to follow Micheal Essien, Kelvin Prince Boateng and Asamoah Gyan sagas  some time back if we don’t call a spade a spade.

The early GFA thinks twice by forgetting the problem of the Ayews’ and focusing on the way forward for the team the better it will be for all.
