CHELSEA WHIPPED ARSENALS TO GO ON TOP

Berekum Chelsea whipped arch rivals Arsenals 2-0 on Sunday at the Golden City Park in the week three of 2012/2013 Glo Premier League to atop the league.

Latif Salifu’s 28th minute goal in the first half broke the deadlock for his side Chelsea before the game went on recess.

Arsenals could have fetched an equalizer but Ibrahim Dauda failed to convert a penalty awarded to them in the 33rd minute.

A 79^th minute goal from Ibrahim Issaka cushioned the lead for the African Blues to secure the three maximum points.
