Jayee University College which developed out of Jayee Secretarial Institute will forever recognized as the first ever multi-faced indigenous initiative that seeks to combine demand – driven, target – oriented management, communication, and journalism training. It is an entity that seeks to churn out high caliber professional manpower to meet the growing and competitive local and global job-market and to provide satisfaction for the youth and other stakeholders.
Jayee University College provides the teaching of and training in management, communication and journalism for graduates from the SHS as well as flexible and conducive learning and teaching conditions for worker and lecturers.
It was established in 1987, in 2003, the institute got approval from the University of Education, Winneba, for affiliation and this has indeed put it ahead of other competitors. In 2004, the National accreditation Board accredited it to run tertiary programmes in Accounting and Business Administration.

MISSION
The mission of Jayee is to be “a citadel for training of high caliber manpower in management and journalism to meet the demands of a competitive local and global job market”.
VISION
While the vision of the institution is “to be the best tertiary institution in management and journalism in Ghana recognized internationally”.
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
The students’ representative council of Jayee is a Unified voice of the students on campus that stand on non-partisan, ethnic, religious or gender basis in ensuring that the right of students are not compromised and to also support create a conducive atmosphere for learning in the school.
The council has been contributing immensely towards national development through the various students’ movement by advocating for the respect of rights that would interest not only the students and youth in Ghana but the nation as a whole as a communication institution.
The SRC this year has visited the physically challenged, at some areas and given the needed support to them accordingly. The Council as part of its social responsibility organized several clean – up exercise at several areas such as Agboloshie, Mallam, Lapaz and Kasoa.
The Council has also organized workshops for people who sell by our road side to curb the spread of any illness that may cause the society.

Jayee University College SRC is a member of the National Union of Ghana Students (NUGS) and Ghana Union of Professional Students (GUPS).
