The fall of a man is not the end of life. I say this because
with some few games to close
curtains on the Glo premiership 2012/2013
season Real Tamale United has already kissed bye-bye to the topflight.
RTU formed in 1976 has not won a single match this season
coupled with the fact they served a ban for playing home games away as a result
of crowd violence in the 5th week encounter against Medeame in
Tamale.
RTU cannot escape relegation as they are the last team at
the bottom of the table carrying others with only five points of the said
matches played so far.
Some seasons back, this same side was relegated due to poor
performance and this time they are not exception.
Personally RTU belongs to the elite league because players
likeWilliam Owusu Acheampong, Toufiq Alolo , Meastro Abedi Pele, Mohammed Gago,
Hamza Mohammed, Alfa Potowabawi and others have passed the hands of this team
and it will sad for them to look back for their former club to once again visit
the division one league.
Per my calculations RTU can not survive in this league even
if they win all the remaining matches which is impossible.
RTU must go back to work harder to take the rightful place
in the topflight if God permits.
