The Director of Rural Project Support Network, a non-government
organization, Madam Felecia Sosu has called on corporate bodies to
financially equip NGO’s to carry out activities for the sake of
humanity.
She noted her NGO which current has five branches with a
total number of 216 members in the Pantang community lay emphasis on
women and children progressively in areas of education, health and
domestic violence issues.
According to Madam Sosu, her NGO get
students from the University of Ghana, Social Studies School and others
to practice their internship, community services or attachments.
Briefing
this reporter during a female tournament organized by Right To Play
last Friday at Pantang Sakora park community, she commended Right To
Play for a thoughtful event in the community.
Madam Sosu lamented
about lack of finance to keep the organization on track adding that “I
had to sell my car out to raise capital run the organization since there
have been help from anywhere”.
“Mostly I had to cater for school
children fees and finance others who need vocation training for them
to become self-employed and better future leaders for the nation” she
added.
She advised the youth to take their education seriously and live a wealthy life full of emulation.

Member of Parliament for the Ga East Municipal, Mr. Joseph Nii Mensah Okpoti thanked Madam Sosu for
her vision and pledge to render the need support for the NGO and the
development of the community as well.
