Born To Lead

Essayist: Ebenezer Zor

“Then the Lord spoke to Joshua son of Nun and said to him, ‘Be confident and determine. You will lead the people of Israel into the land that I promised them and I will be with you’’ Deuteronomy 31:33

When Moses turned 120 years and being told by God he will not cross river Jordan to see the promise land ‘Canaan’ with his feet, he appointed Joshua as his successor. According to Bible articles, Joshua lacked certain leadership qualities and styles. But when God appeared, he spurred him on.

In Deuteronomy 34:9 tells us “Joshua son of Nun was filled with wisdom, because Moses had appointed him to be his successor. The people of Israel obeyed Joshua and kept his commands that the Lord had given them through Moses”

Leadership at all levels requires wisdom of God taught by the Spirit; not of human wisdom. For human wisdom taught by humans have limitations.
Conceivably, the Spirit ensures obedience, unity and understanding for the walk in the Lord.

Similarly in Joshua 1:2 God said Joshua “My servant Moses is dead. Get ready now; you and all the people of Israel, and across the river Jordan into the land that I am given”. Joshua’s leadership began here.
Folks you are not an ordinary person. Naturally you are born to lead in the family, community, school, church, job and many more. Get closer to God to discover to recover your leadership qualities and styles.

EVERETT ROGERS DIFFUSION INNOVATION MODEL

Diffusion is defined as the communication process by which a new idea or new
product is accepted by the market, while the rate of diffusion is defined as the speed that the new idea spreads from one consumer to the next. Adoption, similar to diffusion, also deals with the psychological decision making processes of the individual, rather than those of an aggregate market.

Rogers showed that a diffusion process in a social system follows an S-Curve in which the adoption of a technology begins with slow change, is followed by rapid change and ends in slow change as the product matures or new technologies emerge. He also held that people adopt new technological innovations at different times and at different rates. He then used the varying rates of adoption to distinguish different phases in the diffusion process allowing practitioners to assess such things as the life of a new product or service and the application of the correct set of marketing activities at the appropriate time.

The adoption process tracked through the diffusion curve is a decision-making process in which an individual passes from the initial knowledge of an innovation to forming an attitude toward the innovation, to a decision to adopt or reject it, then to its implementation and the use of the new idea, and finally to confirmation of this decision.

The cumulative number of adopters follows the above mentioned S-shaped curve. The number of newly ‘converted’ adopters plotted as a frequency histogram against time follows a bell-shaped Gaussian curve where the number of new adopters rises until halfway the S-curve after which their numbers decrease, To make the model actionable, Rogers introduced ‘innovativeness’ – the degree to which an individual is relatively earlier in adopting new ideas than other members in a social system. This allowed Rogers to distinguished five groups of adopters as ideal types:

1. INNOVATORS
The first 2.5% of adopters are called "Innovators". Innovators are venturesome and educated, have multiple sources of information and show greater propensity to take risks. They appreciate technology for its own sake and are motivated by the idea of being a change agent in their reference group. They are willing to tolerate initial problems that may accompany new products or services and are willing to make shift solutions to such problems.

2. EARLY ADOPTERS
The next 13.5% of adopters are "Early Adopters". They are the social leaders, popular and educated. They are the visionaries in their market and are looking to adopt and use new technology to achieve a revolutionary breakthrough that will achieve dramatic competitive advantage in their industries. They are attracted by high-risk, high-reward projects and are not very price sensitive because they envision great gains in competitive advantage from adopting a new technology. They typically demand personalized solutions and quick-response, highly qualified sales and support.

3. EARLY MAJORITY
The next 34% of adopters are formed by the "Early Majority". They are deliberate and have many informal social contacts. Rather than looking for revolutionary changes to gain productivity enhancements in their firms, they are motivated by evolutionary changes. They have three principles in the adoption of new technology:
•         “When it is time to move, let’s move all together”. This principle defines why adoption increases so rapidly in the diffusion process and causes a landslide in demand.
•         “When we pick a vendor to lead us to the new paradigm, let us all pick the same one”. This principle explains which firm will become the market leader.
•         “Once the transition starts, the sooner we get it over with, the better”. This principle shows why the transition stage occurs rapidly.

4. LATE MAJORITY
The next 34% of adopters are the "Late Majority". They are skeptical, traditional and of lower socio-economic status. They are very price sensitive and require completely preassembled, bulletproof solutions. They are motivated to buy technology just to stay even with the competition and often rely on a single, trusted adviser to help them make sense of technology.

5. LAGGARDS
The last 16% of the adopters consists of "Laggards". Laggards are technology skeptics who want only to maintain the status quo. They tend not to believe that technology can enhance productivity and are likely to block new technology purchases. Roger’s model has found wide appeal and application in such disciplines as marketing and management science. The model’s most significant application is the Bass Diffusion Model where the process of how new innovations are adopted through the interaction of current and potential users is described mathematically.

pros:
Adoption/Diffusion of Innovations theory underlines the importance of differentiating customer segments. Furthermore, it depicts the need to convince innovators and early adopters to first make an innovation successful. Using ‘innovativeness’ as variable, Rogers was the first person to group adopters in a scientific and meaningful way.

The model’s ideal types and percentages can be used as a first draft to estimate target groups for communication purposes.

The model shows patterns of consumer adoption at each of the various stages during a product's life cycle by focusing on different characteristics of each adopter categories in terms of (1) socioeconomic status (2) personality & values and (3) communication behavior.

cons:
Critics of this model concluded that it is an overly simplified representation of a complex reality. Adopters often fall within different categories for different innovations: a current laggard can be an early adopter the next time around.

The model is not predictive. It does not provide insight in how well a new idea or product will do before it has gone through its adoption curve.

Customers often adapt technology to their own needs, so the innovation may actually change in usage when moving from the early adopters to the majority of users. The model does not include these kinds of mutations. The lubricant WD-40 is a famous example of such a mutation.

Disruptive technologies may radically change the diffusion patterns for established technologies by starting a different competing S-curve. The model does not provide pointers how to best manage such transitions.

Be Increased!

Writer: Ebenezer Zor
“He will break the power of the wicked, but the power of the righteous will be increased’’ Psalm 75:10

No power is bigger than God. All evil powers surrender to the authority in heaven. So far as God exist, evil advocates will suffer a deva sting punch to halt their wickedness in the world. But for the humble, meek, understanding, faithful, hopeful, obedient, righteous, committed and dedicated love ones of God they shall increase positively in spirit, finances, knowledge, marriage, business at all time.

In that, believe that an angel is destroying the afflictions of the wicked against God’s chosen people.
Children of God, pronounce the power upon every step you take while on earth. For you have been given the power to permit and prohibit in your world.

“And I tell all of you: what you prohibit on earth will be prohibited in heaven, and what you permit on earth will be permitted in heaven’’ Matthew 18:18

It Depends On God

Author: Ebenezer Zor

“So then it depends not on human will or exertion, but on God, who has
ebenezer zor

mercy’’. Romans 9:16

Nothing can be achieved if we do not seek for God’s approval or confirmation.
When we cast our eyes around; presidents rule nations, pilots fly passengers,
parents rule in homes, managers ensure efficiency and proficiency at work,
teachers impart knowledge into students, judges administer justice not forgetting
pastors duty as well; just to mention a few of professions and their place of work.

God rules everything we see around us. We are where we are, we will be where we
want to not because of appearance, position, possession, intellects, fame,
connections, abilities; but by his refreshing mercies, grace and favor. We could be
the best in all activities. However, without mercy from God our best will never be
seen. Only God grants mercy.

When Moses saw God’s glory, the Lord replied” and he said, “I will make all my
goodness pass before you and will proclaim before you my name ‘The LORD.’
And I will be gracious to whom I will be gracious, and will show mercy on
whom I will show mercy’’. Exodus 33:19

Let us hope for God’s grace and goodness in our entire life. Never must we forget
to ask anytime we pray to him.

Away from that, David in Psalm 25:6 said ‘’ Remember your compassionate
and faithful deeds, O LORD, for you have always acted in this manner’’.

Ladies and gents, experiencing successes or victories depend on God. Never doubt
this because the acquisition of certificates from schools, associations, without
mercies cannot fly one to the top. It depends on His mercy.

New Entry Resolutions- 2015

From: Ebenezer Zor
A promise is an assurance that one will do something in future. Promises can be statements, actions or signs; in the form of dreams and visions that shape our expectations and preparations ahead of time. Human promises cannot match that of God. Such promises could either fail or succeed. Where it succeeds, it lasts for a moment. Howsoever, the promises of God for those who love Him and do His volition though it may seem slow in coming, it surely happens and last forever. God attaches command to His promises. Though promises are meant to happen, not all are fulfilled due to our attitudinal changes prior to and after the fulfillment of the covenant concerning you and me.

Using the above scripture in Joshua 6:2 which says “And the LORD said to Joshua, “See, I have given Jericho into your hand, with its king and mighty men of valor". God promised the Israelites under the leadership of Joshua a victory over the fall of the wall of Jericho. In the actualization of that promise, God commanded them to act on specific lines in order to make the covenant real.

“You shall march around the city, all the men of war going around the city once. Thus shall you do for six days; seven priests shall bear seven trumpets of rams' horns before the ark. On the seventh day you shall march around the city seven times, and the priests shall blow the trumpets. And when they make a long blast with the ram's horn, when you hear the sound of the trumpet, then all the people shall shout with a great shout, and the wall of the city will fall down flat, and the people shall go up, everyone straight before him.” Joshua 6:3-5.

Joshua carried out the order. “So Joshua the son of Nun called the priests and said to them, “Take up the ark of the covenant and let seven priests’ bear seven trumpets of rams' horns before the ark of the LORD.” And he said to the people, “Go forward. March around the city and let the armed men pass on before the ark of the LORD.”
And just as Joshua had commanded the people, the seven priests bearing the seven trumpets of rams' horns before the LORD went forward, blowing the trumpets, with the ark of the covenant of the LORD following them. The armed men were walking before the priests who were blowing the trumpets, and the rear guard was walking after the ark, while the trumpets blew continually. But Joshua commanded the people, “You shall not shout or make your voice heard, neither shall any word go out of your mouth, until the day I tell you to shout. Then you shall shout.” So he caused the ark of the LORD to circle the city, going about it once. And they came into the camp and spent the night in the camp. Then Joshua rose early in the morning, and the priests took up the ark of the LORD. And the seven priests bearing the seven trumpets of rams' horns before the ark of the LORD walked on, and they blew the trumpets continually. And the armed men were walking before them, and the rear guard was walking after the ark of the LORD, while the trumpets blew continually. And the second day they marched around the city once, and returned into the camp. So they did for six days” Joshua 6: 6-14

Eventually, on that seventh day after following God's instruction to the latter, the promise came to light. “So the people shouted, and the trumpets were blown. As soon as the people heard the sound of the trumpet, the people shouted a great shout, and the wall fell down flat, so that the people went up into the city, every man straight before him, and they captured the city” Joshua 6:20.

Now, the Joshuas' and the likes are no more. We are now the recipients of promises spoken for the future. The fulfillment of His promises depends on a kind of relationship we have with God. What are we doing to embrace the promises of God now, then and forever? As we wait for those promises, let us consider some preparations needed for a fulfillment of promise.
  1. Be obedient to God's will. We are created to obey God's will and have reverence for Him only. Joshua and his comrades obeyed and respected God’s command without vilifying, and that paved way for the fulfillment of the promise in the first paragraph of this piece. Obeying demands getting closer to God through fellowship, devotion to church activities and practicing the word with faith in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth. "In love he predestined us for adoption as sons through Jesus Christ, according to the purpose of his will, to the praise of his glorious grace, with which he has blessed us in the Beloved." Ephesians 1:5-6. In short the fulfillment of promises by God largely requires obedience, devotion to church events, constant fellowship and reverence to God. "The end of the matter; all has been heard. Fear God and keep his commandment, for this is the whole duty of man." Ecclesiastes 12:13. In this year and beyond, I will constantly obey, respect and fellowship with God.
  2. Always be thankful to God. "Give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you. Do not quench the Spirit. Do not despise prophecies" 1 Thessalonians 5:18-20. In relation to the fulfillment of God's promises, we should have a heart of thanksgiving regardless of circumstances or positions. While people die from challenges, others regain consciousness after been indisposed. All these category of persons are important but it is God who grants life through his son Christ Jesus to anyone. It may seem that your situation is worse, but trust me yours is better that someone else. Anytime we are alive, let us thank God for life before asking for any other want or need. There is hope for the living than the dead. In 2014, the emergence of the deadly disease, Ebola, claimed 8,000 lives and still counting with the majority of death recorded from West Africa countries- Liberia, Sierra Leone and Guinea. Are we better than those who died? Whatever the situation is, will be, so far as not dead, thank God. Be grateful to God for bringing you this far. Let us be honest; ‘are situations the same as now’? "So if a person lives many years, let him rejoice in them all; but let him remember that the days of darkness will be many. All that comes is vanity." Ecclesiastes 11:8. If you are thankful by downplaying even pressing issues and believing God's promises, your vat will be full and overflow. My heart will continually thank the Lord in all situations.
  3. One must have an unshakable faith. From the bible, when Daniel refused to comply with the worship of idols, an order from king Darius, he was thrown into the den of lions without any offence. "Then the king commanded, and Daniel was brought and cast into the den of lions. The king declared to Daniel, “May your God, whom you serve continually, deliver you!” And a stone was brought and laid on the mouth of the den, and the king sealed it with his own signet and with the signet of his lords, that nothing might be changed concerning Daniel" Daniel 6:16-17. Imagine you being in that same instance or any otherwise, what could you have done? Later, at the break of day, king Darius went to find out whether Daniel has been devoured the lions. He called him and Daniel answered "Then Daniel said to the king, “O king, live forever! My God sent his angel and shut the lions' mouths, and they have not harmed me, because I was found blameless before him; and also before you, O king, I have done no harm.” Daniel 6:21-22. Daniel's unstable faith even at the inch of destruction made God humbled and shut the mouth of lions in the den. Difficulties are embodiment of life. Promises bring change of direction and hope. Owing to the assurances from God, dark moments should not sway us to disbelief the promise. We ought to hope for it. Hope makes all things work. "Now faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen" Hebrews 11:1. I will continue to exercise faith till the second coming of Christ.
  4. In the fulfillment of God's promises, continual prayer is required to remind Him. God has given everything to us. ”Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours” Mark 11:34. He wants us to ask from a pure heart with an effective and fervent prayer. "The prayer of a righteous person has great power as it is working" James 5:16b. Never will I let go prayers.
  5. Apparently, the actualization of God's promises demand patience. "Be patient, therefore, brothers, until the coming of the Lord. See how the farmer waits for the precious fruit of the earth, being patient about it, until it receives the early and the late rains. You also, be patient. Establish your hearts, for the coming of the Lord is at hand" James 5:7-8. Although there may be delay, yet He will act according to his time. “Be still before the LORD and wait patiently for him; fret not yourself over the one who prospers in his way, over the man who carries out evil devices! “ Psalm 37:7. God does what he promises. He changes his plans when we also change our faith in Him. Every promise of God happens beautifully in his time not ours. "He has made everything beautiful in its time. Also, he has put eternity into man's heart, yet so that he cannot find out what God has done from the beginning to the end" Ecclesiastes 3:11. Since impatience aborts God’s plans, I will rather wait upon the Lord to act in His time.
  6. When the promise has been fulfilled, honor your part of the covenant with God. God promised a woman a child. That woman in the bible was called Hannah. She had a concubine called Peninnah, both married to Elkanah. Peninnah had children but Hannah did not. She was treated badly, mocked, humiliated by even her own family. Hannah rather promised to rededicate the child to God if He hears her prayer. A year later, her request was answered. "And in due time Hannah conceived and bore a son, and she called his name Samuel, for she said, “I have asked for him from the LORD" 1 Samuel 1:20. It did not end there. She fulfilled her promise in verse 27-28 of the same chapter; "For this child I prayed, and the LORD has granted me my petition that I made to him. Therefore I have lent him to the LORD. As long as he lives, he is lent to the LORD". Hannah was blessed with other children. Every promise made to God when honored ensures smooth candidacy for future blessings even onto generations unborn. I will honor my promises to God as planned.
  7. Learn and continue to forgive people. In the wake and aftermath of God's promises been fulfilled, we must practice the golden rule of forgiveness in that; do to others what you want to be done to you and never do to others what you do not want to be done to you. "So whatever you wish that others would do to you, do also to them, for this is the Law and the Prophets" Matthew 7:12.
  8. What we say could either pave way or block God's promises concerning us. Now that we know, we ought to be careful how we think and watch our tongue as well during interactions at any gathering. What we imagine and say is what we get. "The words of a wise man's mouth win him favor, but the lips of a fool consume him" Ecclesiastes 10:12. My mouth will speak out words of encouragement.
  9. Be led by the sprit and show kindness to others. The basic pretext for showing goodness is love. As God does well to you, be generous to others especially the needy. There are more blessings in giving than blessing. If you love your neighbor as yourself will you harm such a person? Let us be led by the spirit and do well to others in need. "Whoever brings blessing will be enriched, and one who waters will himself be watered" Proverbs 11:25. I will do well to people as expected.
  10. Say no sin. Sin blocks the promises of God concerning us. Sin is an immoral thought or action considered as a transgression against divine law. Before and after the fulfillment of God's assurances, work hard not fall into sin. Later Christ disappeared into the crowd without the healed lame man seeing him. Within a couple of hours, Jesus met him in the temple and said in John 5:10 “Now you are well; so stop sinning, or something even more worse may happen to you’’. God grants me the will to overcome temptations beyond my control. Happy new entry!

Want To Be Born Again?
“Anyone who is joined to Christ is a new being; the old is gone, the new has come. All this is done by God, who through Christ managed us from enemies to friends and gave us the task of making others his friends also.” 2 Corinthians 5:12-18
Having read this message, want to be born again? Say this prayer with faith; Heavenly father, from today I surrender myself to you. Forgive and cleanse me from all my sins. I invite you to take absolute control of my life. Beloved if you have prayed this prayer, you are born again and welcome to God’s family.

CONQUERING YOUR ENEMY

Writer: Ebenezer Zor

An enemy is someone who opposes someone else and tries to do harm to them.
“An open foe may prove a curse, but a pretended friend is worse” John Gay
Generally, an enemy could refer to persons, objects, ideas, images, sounds, words, forces or anything that hinders and destroy the growth, peace and freedom of something. The presence of the enemy is to steal, destroy and kill the stability your have enraptured in your families, schools, offices, churches, relationships and every sector of one’s life.
Let us deal with the enemy.
SIGNS OF AN ENEMY
1. The enemy makes us doubtful. “Whoever doubts is like a wave in the sea driven and blown about by the sea. People like that; unable to make up their minds and undecided in all they do, must not think that they will receive anything from God” James 1:8
2. An enemy tempts us to sin. Temptation means encouraging one to sin. “Satan rose up against Israel and caused David to take a census of the people of Israel.”1 Chronicles 21:1
3. An enemy is envious. Jesus Christ was arrested out of envy. “He knew very that the religious leaders had arrested Jesus out of envy”. Matthew 27:18.
4. An enemy is jealous. “So from that time on Saul kept a jealous eye on David”. 1 Samuel 18:9.
5. An enemy is tricky. “Don’t make your living by extortion or put your hope in stealing. And if your wealth increases, don’t make it the centre of your life”. Psalm 62:10
6. An enemy does not appreciate anything good. “But Saul sent the troops back to get bed so I can kill.” 1 Samuel 19:15.
7. It aims at killing. “Then Saul sent troops to watch David’s when he came out the next morning. But Michal, David’s wife, warned him,” If you don’t escape tonight, you will be dead the next morning”. 1 Samuel 19:11.
8. An enemy steals, kill and destroys. “The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy” John 10:9a
HOW DOES THE ENEMY TEMPT US?
Situations that give the enemy the dog chance to tempt and destroy out of sin. And this could be seen in areas like;
A. Adopting easy ways in life. “But the gateway to life is very narrow and the road is difficult, and only a few ever find it”. Matthew 7:14
B. Passionate about materialistic things in the world. “What sorrow awaits the world, because it tempts people to sin? Temptations are inevitable, but what sorrow awaits a person who does the tempting”. Matthew 18:7
C. Taste for earthly desires. “Temptation comes from our own desires, which entice us and drag us away. These desires give birth to sinful actions. And when sin is allowed to grow, it gives birth to death.” James 1:14-15.
STEPS TO CONQUER YOUR ENEMY
“You are of your father the devil, and your will is to do your father's desires. He was a murderer from the beginning, and does not stand in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he lies, he speaks out of his own character, for he is a liar and the father of lies” John 8:44
Summing it all up, if Satan is the father of the unsaved by the natural birth, we must have a supernatural birth in order for God to be our Father!

1. The first step to conquer the enemy, is to desire for a spiritual rebirth by the power of Christ Jesus. Desiring for the spiritual rebirth requires doing away with the old life and clinging to the new life by the power of Christ Jesus.
In certifying yourself as a “Born again” in order to conquer the enemy, you must believe in the Lord Christ Jesus. “Whoever is of God hears the words of God. The reason why you do not hear them is that you are not of God.” John 8:47
In that same vein one must learn to fully surrender his or her life to God. James 4:7 says” Submit yourselves to God, resists the devil and he will flee from you”.
Where are you? Are we in Adam or in Christ? “As in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive” (I Cor. 15:22).
Do you want to surrender?
Then say this” God Almighty, by the authority given to Christ Jesus, I now place my body, soul, spirit and my entire life under your protection. My Lord and personal saviour come into my life.
Teach and put me in your perfect will. From today, I choose to surrender all the days of my life. Direct my life in the way that you want my life to be. I thank for accepting me in the Mighty name of Christ Jesus. Beloved there you go, with faith and believe a new chapter of life have been opened to you.

QUOTE: “To see what is right and do not do it is want of courage” Confucius

2. Putting On New Self
a. Treasure the things in heaven rather than on earth. For Christ has appeared in your life. “If then you have been raised with Christ, seek the things that are above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God. Set your minds on things that are above, not on things that are on earth. For you have died, and your life is hidden with Christ in God. When Christ who is your life appears, then you also will appear with him in glory. “ Colossians 3:1-4
b. Kill every earthly attitude in you. “Put to death therefore what is earthly in you: sexual immorality, impurity, passion, evil desire, and covetousness, which is idolatry.” Colossians 3:5
c. Get rid of the past which you had lived before. “In these you too once walked, when you were living in them. But now you must put them all away: anger, wrath, malice, slander, and obscene talk from your mouth.” Colossians 3:7-8
d. Avoid lies in all aspects of life and put on the new self. “ Do not lie to one another, seeing that you have put off the old self with its practices and have put on the new self, which is being renewed in knowledge after the image of its creator” Colossians 3:9-10
e. Never deny Christ. “Who is the liar but he who denies that Jesus is the Christ? This is the antichrist, he who denies the Father and the Son.” 1 John 2:22
f. Accept the Son of Man and let his words abide in you. “No one who denies the Son has the Father. Whoever confesses the Son has the Father also. Let what you heard from the beginning abide in you” 1 John 2:22-24
g. Practice and meditate on the word. “This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do according to all that is written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success” Joshua 1:8
h. Be humble, sober-minded and watchful. “Humble yourselves, therefore, under the mighty hand of God so that at the proper time he may exalt you, casting all your anxieties on him, because he cares for you. Be sober-minded; be watchful.” 1 Peter 5:6-8
i. Rejoice and pray without ceasing in all situations. “Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, and give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.” 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18
j. Have a thankful heart. “Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God.” Philippians 4:6

4. SEEK AND PRACTICE THE GIFTS OF THE HOLY SPIRIT
a. Ministry gift is your calling into an office but the Holy Spirit can actually be desired: Any good work (preaching, teaching, singing, giving, ushering, evangelizing, supporting financially, helping the needy etc.) one finds him or her self-doing is a gift from the Holy Spirit. “And no one takes this honor for himself, but only when called by God, just as Aaron was.” Hebrews 5:4
b. Desire for the fruit of the Holy Spirit. This is the recreated human spirit:” But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control; against such things there is no law. And those who belong to Christ Jesus have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires.” Galatians 5:22-23
c. Live in the spirit and provoke not one another. “If we live by the Spirit, let us also keep in step with the Spirit. Let us not become conceited, provoking one another, envying one another.” Galatians 5:25-26
d. Walk in the power of the spirit: “O God, you are my God; earnestly I seek you; my soul thirsts for you; my flesh faints for you, as in a dry and weary land where there is no water. So I have looked upon you in the sanctuary, beholding your power and glory. Because your steadfast love is better than life, my lips will praise you.” Psalm 63:1-3

5. FELLOWSHIP CONSTANLTY WITH GOD
Fellowship is sharing together between persons. Therefore human fellowship among God’s people as a way of overcoming evil intentions commands us to;
Be devoted to one another. “Love one another with brotherly affection. Outdo one another in showing honor” Romans 12:10
Live in harmony with one another. “Live in harmony with one another. Do not be haughty, but associate with the lowly” Romans 12:16
Accept one another. “Therefore welcome one another as Christ has welcomed you, for the glory of God” Romans 15:17
Instruct one another. “I myself am satisfied about you, my brothers,1 that you yourselves are full of goodness, filled with all knowledge and able to instruct one another” Romans 15:14
Use your gifts for one another. “As each has received a gift, use it to serve one another, as good stewards of God's varied grace” 1 Peter 4:10
Share with one another. “For I do not mean that others should be eased and you burdened, but that as a matter of fairness your abundance at the present time should supply their need, so that their abundance may supply your need, that there may be fairness. As it is written, “Whoever gathered much had nothing left over and whoever gathered little had no lack.” 2 Corinthians 8:13-15
Greet one another in peace. “Finally, brothers, rejoice. Aim for restoration, comfort one another, agree with one another, live in peace; and the God of love and peace will be with you” 2 Corinthians 13:11
Serve one another in love. “13 For you were called to freedom, brothers. Only do not use your freedom as an opportunity for the flesh, but through love serve one another” Galatians 5:13
Be kind to one another. “See that no one repays anyone evil for evil, but always seek to do good to one another and to everyone” 1 Thessalonians 5:15
Forgive one another. “Be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, as God in Christ forgave you.” Ephesians 4:32
Carry one another’s burden. “Bear one another's burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ” Galatians 6:2
Look to the interest of others. “Do nothing from selfish ambition or conceit, but in humility count others more significant than yourselves. Let each of you look not only to his interests, but also to the interests of others.” Philippians 2:3-4
Admonish one another. “Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly, teaching and admonishing one another in all wisdom, singing psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, with thankfulness in your hearts to God.” Colossians 3:16
Encourage one another. “Not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another, and all the more as you see the Day drawing near.” Hebrews 10:25
Pray for one another. “Therefore, confess your sins to one another and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous person has great power as it is working” James 5:16
