No More Shame!

 Writer: Ebenezer Zor

“Fear not; you will no longer live in shame. Don’t be afraid, there is no more disgrace
Ebenezer Zor
for you’’ Isaiah 54:4b

Every question has an answer. Deliberating upon it, there are no problems without solutions. Truly, not all problems could be solved by the people around you. However, there is only one personality that has solutions to every predicament you might experience or think of. That person is God. Taking you to previous verse in the opening piece, when Jerusalem was in tatters, God spoke to Prophet Jeremiah to spread the message saying; no more disgrace or shame for you. What is eating you up? Are people mocking you because you do not belong to a class? Do you intend ending your life because of pain, agony, embarrassments?

Look no further than God. Per this message, declare that from today there will be no shame or disgrace in your life in the name of Jesus Christ. You can say amen after declaring.

God moves a step ahead of you to weed out all obstacles on the way. Making a case of hope; Isaiah 45:2 tell us “I will go before you, Cyrus and level the mountains. I will smash down gates of bronze and out through the bars of iron’’. The mountains in spiritual context indicate troubles while the bronze means those behind it and the bars; the degree of the problem.

Cyrus was God’s chosen town. Today you are also chosen. Already, God has gone ahead of you straightening all crooked paths to ensure that there will be no more shame now and for the future.

 PRAYER

Father, again and again you keep blessing me with the word. I believe it is reflecting in every area of my life in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, Amen.

I Am Confident

 Writer: Ebenezer Zor

“Yet I am confident I will see the Lord’s goodness while I am here in the land of the living’’ Psalm 28:13

For you to move a step further in life, you ought to encourage, inspire yourself despite how real the world is. If you are not happy, can someone bring smiles on your face? You cannot live in the world free from trouble. Troubles must not weigh your down; rather spark you to let it go because ideas are often pregnant will solutions.

The solution is being confident in the Lord that it will soon be over. There are bound to be a challenge at a start, but at the end is different. Your beginnings should not deter you, rather be confident and hope for good endings.

The philosopher in Ecclesiastes 7:8 tell us “Finishing is better than starting. Patience is better than pride’’

No matter how events might shape, look up to God with confidence, patience and believe that your finishing is greater than the starting.

May the Lord bless you, protect you, smile on you and be gracious to you.

Quote: “Let every disappointment reminds you of bringing your dream alive” EZ

Pensioners Must Avoid Refined Carbohydrates – Mr. Tsikata

IMG-20150803-WA0001Life can be enjoyed with absolutely no health problems even in old age if one eats the right food at the right time in the right proportion.

This was disclosed by the Chief Executive Officer of Tsikarts Mr. Eric Tsikata last Tuesday at koforidua.
He was speaking at a seminar organized by Tsikarts and Sheeba Links for The Ghana Government Pensioners Association of the Eastern Region.

The seminar dubbed “the challenges and beauty of old age was aimed at educating the elderly on the possibility of living healthy during old age.

“Your body needs nutrients from good food to keep you healthy. Eating balanced diet will surely keep your body in its ideal shape however, over eating a good diet is unhealthy and could distort your looks”, he said.
Mr. Tsikata encouraged the aged to drink enough water so as to prevent dehydration and also cleanse the body of toxins.

“Water helps your body to function well. You do not have to feel thirsty before you take water. Make it a habit to drink at least eight glasses of water everyday”, he added.
According to him, too much consumption of salt depletes the body of calcium thereby causing ones bones to become weak.

He also advised the pensioners to avoid the excessive use of refined carbohydrates and processed food and rather take whole meal, such as oats, unpolished maize, brown bread, etc. and fruits and vegetables which are packed with fiber necessary for digestion, metabolism and general cleansing of the body.
He noted that eating very late in the night and just before sleep may cause obesity and therefore must be avoided.

Mr. Tsikata also cautioned against the high intake of alcoholic beverages, sugar and caffeinated drinks.
He stressed the need for adequate rest and also exercises to stay healthy.
