The above quote was from David. This saying signifies that there are advantages written down for the people here in the land of the living. In verse 14 of the chapter, it reads ``Wait patiently for the Lord. Be brave and courageous. Yes, wait patiently for the Lord``

There is no goodness in the world of the dead. So if you are alive today, be optimistic, stop murmuring and complaining about the trials. What are some of the goodness? These are mercies, favour, love, good marriages, financial stability and every perfect reward that comes from God.

Again be confident and wait patiently for goodness in the days ahead of you. David again stated; ``surely, your goodness and unfailing love will pursue me all the days of my life, and I will live in the house of the Lord forever`` Psalm 23:6

David didn’t mention; illness, poverty, disgrace, shame, hunger, pains, depression, sadness, joblessness, to follow all the days of his life. It was rather the opposite because he confided in God.

God’s goodness and mercies are always with us. We must remember that, anytime you are alive, there are goodness and mercies despite challenges stored in both heaven and earth for the living. Be confident for the future and continue to have faith in the maker.

As a Christian or wanting to join the family of God, there are blessings and victories chalked by Jesus Christ for us. What John meant in the above quotation is revealing the power hidden in you to conquer all trials. And that power emanates from God. You must understand that there is power in you to overcome challenges backed with faith. Instead of fear, doubt, sow the right words; saying I have overcome the problem in Jesus’ name.

In John 16:33, Jesus said “I have told you all this so that you may have the peace in me. Here on earth on earth you will have trials and sorrows. But take heart, because I have overcome the world”

Jesus Christ is the embodiment of the Holy Spirit and Christ means the anointed one. So he is in his overcoming mission. It does not matter the world of circumstances you are in. You are far from being too late for Christ to save. You are born to enjoy peace not war or sorrow. Although life may seem dim, cheer up! For Christ has overcome the world.Beloved you are an over comer.

Hold On To The Lord.

“My brothers and sisters, consider yourselves fortunate when all kinds of trails come your way,

for you know that when your faith succeeds in facing such trials, the result is the ability to endure. Make sure your endurance carries you all the way without falling, so that you may be perfect and complete, lacking nothing”. James 1:2-4 GNB

This is so insightful and thoughtful. Trials do come and you have the ability to endure in order to succeed lacking nothing. You have the spirit of endurance, perseverance to carry you through any circumstances without falling.

Touching on the circumstances, it would be better to hold to the lord than to sell your soul to devil because of desperation and eagerness to enjoy life.

Psalm 25:5 says “Teach me to live according to your truth, for you are my God, who saves me. I always trust you”. This is a verse for guidance and protection in our period of trials. Being reborn, you should trust in the lord to direct you in terms of circumstance so that you could endure without falling and completely lacking nothing.

The word of God gives us the synergy to conquer all trials in our lives. 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18 tells us “Always be joyful. Never stop praying. Be thankful in all circumstances, for this is God’s will for you who belong to Christ Jesus.” NLBT

Your circumstances will in no time disappear like a fog.

Being born again or yet to be, there is power in what you say with your mouth. But it becomes more effective when you become a child of God- believing in the teachings and doctrines about our Lord and personal savior of the world, Jesus Christ.

Perhaps, it could be a probability that some people are responsible for the current crises as a result of certain unaware pronouncements, declarations or thoughts uttered some days ago without noticing it’s positively or negative reactions both in the physical and spiritual realms of the spirit. The power to invite either good or bad tidings lies on your tongue.

To put the icing on the cake, Deuteronomy 30:19 tells us “I am now giving you the choice between life and death, between God’s blessings and God’s curse, and I call heaven and earth to witness the choice you make. Choose life”

This is well expounded. The last two words of the scripture ‘Choose life’ cautions us not only on how we take decisions in our lives, but to also watch the kind utterances from our mouth and to others as well.

As a Christian or yet to be, watch what you say and always be positive minded in order to avoid discouragements, fear and anxiety.

After the outpouring of the Holy Spirit on the day of Pentecost, apostles performed signs and wonders among the people. Peter’s shadow fell on sick people and they were all healed. However, the high priest likewise the Sadducee s were filled with jealousy upon seeing Peter and the apostles demonstrated the miraculous power of Jesus Christ. They accused and threw them into prison for healing people in the name of Jesus. Where there is position, opposition does exist.

But an angel of the Lord was next to act. Being in jail restricts movement, freedom and happiness. Life in prison becomes static and unproductive. Not when you in Christ because God has designed an angel to open ways toward success anytime the doors are closed. For now, things might be rough and hope see to disappear like a smoke. Hey! Don’t give up. Your angel will surely visit at the time you least expected. Your angel is next to deliver you from anything keeping captive.

Citing an example, Jacob after his encounter with an angel, his name was modified. ‘The man asked him, “What is your name?” He answered, “Jacob.” 28 “No longer will your name be Jacob,” the man told him, “but Israel, because you have fought with God and with men and have prevailed.” Genesis 32:27-28 NET

An encounter with an angel brings freedom, joy, peace and breakthrough. Your angel is not far from meeting you. I pray you wait patiently for your angel to act according to God’s plan.

The Lord Is Our Defendant And Victor.

“I will make the people who oppose you afraid of me; I will bring confusion among the people

against whom you fight, and I will make all your enemies turn and run from you”. Exodus 23:27 GNB

This was a promise God gave to the Israelites under the leadership of Moses ably assisted by Aaron. God in his wisdom sent an angel ahead of them to fight on their behalf en route Canaan. However, the other sister tribes (Amorities, Hitites, Perizzites, Canaanites, Hivites and Jebusites) became barriers to God’s chosen people. On the contrary, God destroyed them.

Cherished leaders, those who oppose, hate, fight against you and even wanting you dead will not succeed. For God will make them turn and run away. Every pain or sorrow you have encountered in the last days, weeks, months and years, today God has destroyed those awful happenings in Jesus’ name.

The abstracter may go every length to hurt you. On the flip side of life, Isaiah 14:7 says “But no weapon will be able to hurt you; you will have an answer for all who accuse you. I will defend my servant and give them victory”. Praise the Lord!

Brethren, any arrow of suffering, death, trouble, sickness, confusion, poverty, miscarriages, opposition, and financial bankruptcy targeted you, your family, job, school, business; country would not materialize because of the word spoken by God. Indeed he is our defendant and victor for all issues.
