Understanding the 7 keys of praising God.

We must know that we are blessed to appreciate what has been created for us. The following are some of the different meaning of praise in Hebrew; please bear in mind that spellings and pronunciations sometimes vary. We have to be constant and consistent in the practice of these form of praise in other to maintain our stand in God.

1.       CHEBAK
Chebak-- is a loud commendation of what God has done. This is shouting with a loud voice of praise, exultation, totally lose in a joyful praise of God. it is a mighty proclamation of the awesome God while standing upon the highest mountains and declaring his wonderful work which none can ignore. (Psalms 50; 1-2 and psalms150; 6) that says let everything that breathes praise the lord.

  2. JUDAH
Judah --is a name of a tribe in Israel but it also means praise in the Hebrews. Judah is the praise that saves souls and it is a praise of thanksgiving, which lead to deliverance, salvation and redemption. This particular one causes God to ambush all our enemy around us as we praise him, deliverance follows this kind of praise( 2Ch 20; 22 ) and when they began to sing and praise, God set ambushes against them the sons of Ammmon, Moab and the mount seir  who can come against Judah, and they were beaten, that the power of praise.

Article: Local coaches must wake up.

I am highly disappointed at the entire management and players of the Black
Meteors for failing to qualify Ghana  for the London  2012 Olympic Games after losing 1-2 on aggregate to the Sudanese in the penultimate qualifier last Saturday.

We were all witnesses when the Ex-Black Stars coach Milovan Rajevac took the local
Black Stars to the maiden edition of the CHAN tournament and won silver
after losing 3-0 to the DR Congo in the grand finale.

During the second edition of the Championship for Africa Nations (CHAN) held in Sudan, the local Black Stars failed miserably and could not even go past the first round.

Just last Saturday in Sudan, the whole nation was painted with sadness after
the Black Meteors of Ghana failed to pick a ticket to the London Olympic 2012 Games

This seems to be a repeat of the 2008 qualifiers when Jones Attuquaefio also failed to qualify Ghana for the Beijing Olympics.

Against the backdrop of the poor showing by our local coaches lately, i wish to suggest the following solutions to the problem.

First, I think the GFA with other sports shareholders should take a second look
at the development of juvenile football  in the regions. In other words,
they should mandate the premier clubs to have their own academies.

Secondly, there should be a gradual promotion of national team players from under-17 to say, under-20 and so on, unless in special cases where a player is gifted to warrant his elevation from, say the under-17 to the Black Stars.

On the issue of CHAN competition, i would suggest that players who have
distinguished themselves in their respective clubs for at least three to five seasons
should gain call-ups to the national teams.

Finally, on our coaches, i wish to suggest that regular refresher courses should be organized for them as well as get them attached to top European Clubs. For now though, they lack what it takes to handle any of the national teams.

I believe that when this is done, Ghana will continue to win more laurels
not only in football but in other sporting disciplines.

Rawlingses Decry 'Media Conspiracy'

Ex- President Rawlings with his wife
Kofi Adams, Special Aide to former President Rawlings says the Rawlingses would face squarely, elements within the media that he claimed are conspiring to make the former first couple unpopular.

He told journalists at the former president’s Ridge office in Accra Monday that they have entertained “complete falsity” of the media for far too long, citing the Daily Dispatch’s reports on last Friday’s National Executive Committee meeting of the NDC as a typical case in point.

Kofi Adams accused the paper of reporting that the former First Lady, Nana Konadu Agyemang Rawlings, who is widely believed to be a contender of President Mills for the party’s flag-bearership, disrespected the president by refusing to stand up and show courtesy to him. The Editor of the paper, Mr Ben Ephson, however denied mentioning Mrs Rawlings name.

Even though Mrs Rawlings had early on denied the reports on Joy FM, Mr Adams re-emphasized that the president’s arrival was not announced and the circumstance under which it happened it was impossible for a number of persons including Mrs Rawlings to notice President Mills and recognize his presence accordingly. “You have been invited to this [press conference] as a result of the need to correct some reportage that has been put out there that this office considers as complete falsity as what transpired at last NEC meeting of the National Democratic Congress on last Friday.”

He said at the meeting Mr Rawlings, who has also been accused of insulting the president, “used the appropriate language for the occasion… never did he insult the president”.

Mr Adams said in spite of all the conspiracies, former President Rawlings would continue to raise critical issues bothering the party. “I want to assure you that the former president and founder of the NDC will continue to raise very critical issues that affect this country and the NDC. No amount of lies, no amount of misinformation, no amount of distortions of what he says will stop him from continuing to tell and say what must happen and what must be done to make this country very health.”

He stressed that it was important for the party to do self-correction than to leave it to the opposition and the media to misconstrue happenings in the party to ruin it.

The Special Aide also denied that critical comments by the former president would destroy the party, rather, he said, the party’s reaction and twist put on the comments by some members of the NDC are those that would affect the party.

Touching on the violence that erupted in Tamale following the High Court’s ruling freeing 15 Abudus accused of murdering Ya Na Yakubu Andani II, where a young man was reportedly killed, Mr Adams said the police report that he was stabbed was “false”, saying “the truth is that he was shot”.

He said Mr Rawlings felt the issue needed attention and therefore he raised it during the NEC meeting and sought the President’s indulgence for an investigation to be set up by the Ministries of Defence and Interior to establish the cause of the his death.

He asserted that the former president was informed at the meeting that the security personnel used the young man as a shield when they confronted the rampaging NDC youth who destroyed party’s properties.

He described the action by the police as “not human”, adding that “this is not right”, and hoped the investigation would restore “government’s respectability and that of the uniformed personnel”.

Yet, he noted, the media reported that Mr Rawlings capitalized on the event to insult President Mills. He therefore challenged anyone with evidence of insult to produce it or forever keep quiet.

EPL boss to help revive local League

Accra, April 11, GNA - Chief Executive of the English Premier League, Richard Scudamore is expected to visit Ghana to help in the restructuring of the local Premier League in the country. The nation's elite League has for some time now been blighted by several factors and has become 'less attractive,' to football fans, a reason which has compelled the Ghana Football Association (GFA) to hand the timely invitation to the Premier League boss to assist in the revival of the sport.

Kwesi Nyantakyi, President of the Ghana Football Association (GFA) who said this at a forum in Accra said his outfit held a meeting with Scudamore in London on the sidelines of the international friendly between the Black Stars and their English counterparts. He said the EPL boss will soon visit to help fashion out and draw a strategy to improve the fortunes of the League, which is suffering from poor attendance, insufficient finances and poor officiating. The GFA President said this forms part of discussions held with the Football Association (the FA) with respect to improving the game on the local scene.

With the EPL regarded as the most popular football league in the world, Nyantakyi is convinced the presence of the Chief Executive of the English League will greatly aid in the revival of the dwindling fortunes of the elite league.

The EPL Chief Executive will be expected to meet with the Premier League Clubs and other patrons and organize workshops in areas of marketing and sponsorship, amongst others aimed at raising the standard of the game.

Nyantakyi, seeking for re-election for a second term observed that the League has suffered challenges as a result of poor officiating, quality of infrastructure and the early exodus of players.

He said the early departure of players abroad was disturbing and for that the GFA is devising a plan to curb that canker which is eating into the growth of the game on the local scene. Nyantakyi has been declared the only candidate to contest the GFA Presidential Poll slated for April 28 at the Ghanaman Soccer Centre of Excellence, Prampram.

Feature: What people will do for the love of their country

As incredible as it may sound, a woman’s supposed love for her country is pushing her to divorce her husband so she can go into politics. That is something I picked up from the foreign media two weeks ago.

Also this time of the year, Christians are preparing to go into Easter. All the talk is centred on Jesus Christ, their role model’s love for the world for which he was prepared to die a painful and humiliating death on the cross in order to bring salvation to mankind.

For his love and passion to “free” America from a colour blind society, Martin Luther King, Jr, an African American civil rights activist fought against racial segregation and racist discrimination through civil disobedience and other non-violent means to bring “freedom” to the African Americans. His passion earned him a Nobel Peace Prize at a young age of 35. Unfortunately, he met his death through assassination at age 39 in 1968 and was posthumously awarded the Presidential Medal of Freedom in 1977. Martin Luther King Jr. Day was established as a US federal holiday in 1986.

On the African continent, Nelson Mandela stands very tall when it comes to the list of leaders who, for their devotion to the liberation of their country and people went through pain and torture at the hands of their oppressors. After nearly 3 decades in prison, Mr. Mandela came out even more emboldened to lead his countrymen and women, to dismantle apartheid and lead a black majority rule in South Africa.

In Ghana, our own Osagyefo Dr Kwame Nkrumah led the other Big Five through thick and thin until they won for us our independence from British colonial rule. In the history of the Ashanti Kingdom, we cannot forget the bravery of the Queen mother of Ejisu, Nana Yaa Asantewaa. She is said to have led the Ashantis to war against the British colonialists to force them to bring back from exile, the then King of Ashanti, Prempeh 1. In her historic speech at a meeting of Ashanti chiefs, she is reported to have referred to them as cowards fearing to go forward and declared, “We the women will. I shall call upon my fellow women. We will fight the white men. We will fight till the last of us fall in the battlefield. She indeed led her people to war and was captured alongside other Ashanti leaders and was sent into exile.

So, what are the extraordinary lengths that people will go for the sake of their country and people to the extent that sometimes they have to make costly sacrifices putting their own lives at risk in the process?

A British national who, after overcoming his claustrophobia, pulled out 6 survivors from the rubbles of the recent devastating earthquake in Christchurch, New Zealand, was hailed a hero for his bravery that saved the lives of 6 people. When interviewed, he said that for a moment, his natural fear for space was overcome and what he did, he said, “was the best feeling in the world”.

As recent as a fortnight ago, on BBC, I listened to the First Lady of Guatemala confirming rumours that were circulating about her divorce from her husband, President Alvaro Colom. The divorce was so that she can stand for general elections in Guatemala to succeed him. The First Lady, Sandra Torress de Colom fought back tears as she told her country that she was leaving a loving marriage for the sake of the nation.

At a news conference, she said: “I am getting married to the people.” “I am not going to be the first woman who decides to get a divorce but I am the only woman to get a divorce for her country”. The Guatemalan First Lady was going that route, at the expense of her marriage because the country’s constitution bans close relatives of the President from standing to succeed him.

I guess it is for the sake of his “love” for his country that President Laurent Gbagbo of La Cote d’Ivoire would not give up his presidential seat to his rival Alassane Quattara. For the same love to serve his people, Alassane Quattara would also not give up. Now the same country they both claim to love and were last November asking the people to give them the opportunity to serve is now in turmoil and the people are fleeing while the unfortunate ones have lost their lives.

And so, what is your exceptional love for your country or its people? For what reasons would you be prepared to take Ghana to the altar and declare for better or for worse because of your love for country and men? I bet our politicians will be the first to declare their intentions. They have always done so. Saying so is the easiest part. Putting it into practice then becomes difficult.

Soon, the politicians would be coming back with all kinds of sweet words to declare their love for the people and country. Their intentions would simply be to woo us, the electorate, so that we can give them our votes. The promises will come in all shapes and sizes even to the extent of bringing heaven down to Ghana.

Like the woman who is looking for love, we the electorate will get swayed by the politicians’ promises, empty or not and get carried away. Before long, they would have received what they want forgetting that they ever made promises to their electorate.

Maybe we need to develop a 5-Way wheel test for all our politicians who will come to us in 2012. Will they give us chop money if we should lose our jobs? For the women, if their husbands elope with another woman, do they promise to look after them? Will they be fair and be a father to all the people? Will they jump in and rescue us if we were to drown? Will they lead us into battle and not abandon ship if the enemy was to attack Ghana today?

As for the Guatemalan First Lady, I pray that her people would give her their votes come September for it is because of them that she is divorcing her husband of eight years having divorced from a previous marriage. Poor President Colom, this would be his third divorce too. And do you know what Mrs Colom’s critics are saying? They are saying that she wields even more power over her husband, behind the scenes. Well, what has that got to do with her declared love for her country? Oh, politics. The bickering is everywhere.

Lifebuoy launched as Ghanaians asked to adopt healthy lifestyle

The new Lifebuoy contains an Active5 Germ Protection Formula which has been lab proven to tackle both bacteria and viruses
The Deputy Minister of Health Rojo Mettle-Nunoo Thursday launched the new advanced Lifebuoy Soap, with a call on Ghanaians to live a healthy lifestyle to help cut government’s expenditure on health.

Lifebuoy Soap, a product of Unilever, is the world’s number one germ protection soap. The product will now come in a new and improved shape, packaging, with different variants that produce 30% more lather.

Launching the product at the College of Surgeons & Physicians, Mr Mettle-Nunoo commended Unilever for the timely reintroduction of the soap, which he said has happened at a time when the nation is battling with the outbreak of cholera.

He hoped the launch, coupled with other social interventions by the company, would bring the needed behavioural change among the general public.

Mr Mettle-Nunoo said the government recognized the need for Ghanaians to adopt preventive measures like living in a clean environment, eating healthy foods among other good habits for a healthy society.

He said studies have shown that washing with Lifebuoy soap in five critical skin cleansing occasions - before breakfast, lunch, dinner, during daily bathing and after visiting the washroom – can reduce the incidence of diarrhea by 25%, acute respiratory infection 15% and eye infection by 40%.

The Deputy Health Minister made a passionate appeal to Unilever to make the product available and affordable for Ghanaians.

Mr David Mureithi, Managing Director of Unilever West Africa remarked:
“Let us all remember that simple everyday habits like washing hands with Lifebuoy soap before every meal and most important of all, after visiting the washroom will help improve lives considerably.”

He said, presently, more than 1.6 billion people around the world trust Lifebuoy products to give them 100% germ protection, describing it as the true embodiment of Unilever’s Vitality Mission of helping people look good, feeling good and getting more out of life.

Mr Mureithi said in the aftermath of the 2004 tsunami in Asia, Lifebuoy bars were distributed across India, Sri Lanka and Indonesia to help prevent the spread of infectious diseases and to provide germ protection.
Behavioural change

Further more, in 2005 over 200,000 bars of Lifebuoy soap were donated to UNICEF and the Red Cross to support their earthquake relief operations in Northern India and Pakistan.

In Africa, he said, it was the vision of Lifebuoy to change the hygiene behaviour of 330 million people by 2015.

Mr Mureithi said Unilever is committed to using Lifebuoy’s ‘Hand Wash Demonstration’ to ensure that consumers wash their hands not only with soap but do so correctly.

“To us as Unilever, the launch of the new lifebuoy soap will mark the beginning of a critical behavioral change which will impact positively on the daily hygiene practices of Ghanaians.”

Professor Afua Hesse, President of Medical Women’s International Association, said research has identified that proper hand washing with soap and water as one of the simple measures that can break the cycle of infection.

She therefore implored on all to make good use of the Lifebuoy soap to prevent contacting communicable diseases.

“This should mark the start of a true revolution in personal hygiene and a truly healthy nation from proper hand washing with soap and water.”

STEPS TO CONQUER THE ENEMY

Enemy is someone who opposes someone else and tries to do harm to them. (Macmillan English Dictionary for Advanced Learners International Student Edition).

“An open foe may prove a curse, but a pretended friend is worse” John Gay

In a general sense, enemy could refer to persons, objects, ideas, images, sounds, words, forces or anything that hinders and destroy the growth, peace and freedom of something. The presence of enemies is to still, destroy and kill the stability your have enraptured in your families, schools, offices, churches, relationships, marriages and institutions or industries.

SIGNS OF AN ENEMY.
v  An enemy tempts us to sin. Temptation means encouraging one to sin. “Satan rose up against Israel and caused David to take a census of the people of Israel.”1 Chronicles 21:1; Genesis 3:1-4, Job 1:6-12,            Matthew 4:1-11, Acts 5:1-3.
v  An enemy is always envy at God’s Children. Jesus Christ was arrested out of envy. “He knew very that the religious leaders had arrested Jesus out of envy”. Matthew 27:18.
v  An enemy is jealous. “So from that time on Saul kept a jealous eye on David”. 1Samuel 18:9.
v  An enemy is tricky. “Don’t make your living by extortion or put your hope in stealing. And if your wealth increases, don’t make it the center of your life”. Psalm 62:10
v  An enemy does not appreciate anything. “But Saul sent the troops back to get bed so I can kill.” 1 Samuel 19:15.
v  An aims at killing. “Then Saul sent troops to watch David’s when he came out the next morning. But Michal, David’s wife, warned him,” If you don’t escape tonight, you will be dead the next morning”. 1Samuel 19:11.
HOW DOES THE ENEMY TEMPT US?
It is situations that give the enemy the dog chance to tempt us to sin. And this could be seen in areas like;
v  Always taking to easy ways in life. “But the gateway to life is very narrow and the road is difficult, and only a few ever find it”. Matthew 7:14
v  Passionate about materialistic things in the world. “What sorrow awaits the world, because it tempts people to sin. Temptations are inevitable, but what sorrow awaits a person who does the tempting”. Matthew 18:7
v  Through evil deeds. “Temptation comes from our own desires, which entice us and drag us away. These desires give birth to sinful actions. And when sin is allowed to grow, it gives birth to death.” James 1:14-15.
Exhibiting pride over all things. “Dear brothers and sisters, if another believer* is overcome by some sin, you who are godly* should gently and humbly help that person back onto the right. And be careful not to fall into the same temptation”. Galatians

STEPS TO CONQUER ENEMIES
The NLTB in Colossians 2:13-14 reads; “You were dead because of your sins and because your sinful nature was not yet cut away. Then God made you alive with Christ, for he forgave all your sins. He cancelled the record of the charges against us and took it way by nailing it to the cross”.The first step to conquer the enemy, is to desire for a spiritual rebirth by the power of Christ Jesus. Desiring for the spiritual rebirth requires doing away with the old life and clinging to the new life by the power of Christ Jesus.
In certifying yourself as a “Born again” in order to conquer the enemy, you must believe in the Lord Christ Jesus. First (1) John 5:1 says; “Everyone who believes that Jesus is the Christ* has become a child of God. And everyone who loves the Father loves his children, too”. In that same vein Christians must learn to fully surrender their lives to God. James chapter 4:7 says” Submit yourselves to God, resists the devil and he will flee from you”.

Do you want surrender?

Then say this” God Almighty, by the authority given to Christ Jesus, I now place my body, soul and spirit and my entire life into your hands. My Lord and personal saviour come into my life.

Teach and put me in your perfect will for my life. From today, I choose to surrender all the days of my life. Direct my life in the way that you want my life to be. I thank for accepting me in the Mighty name of Christ Jesus. Beloved there you go, with faith and believe a new chapter of life have been opened to you.

“To see what is right and do not do it is want of courage” Confucius

STEP 2: You must always draw the presence of the Holy Spirit in whatever you attempt doing. “Each time he said, “My grace is all you need. My power works best in weakness.” So now I am to boast about my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ can work through me. That’s why I take pleasure in my weaknesses and in the insults, hardships, persecutions, and troubles that I suffer for Christ. For when I am weak, then I am strong.” 2 Corinthians 12:9-10

“A character is a by-product; it is produced in the great manufacture of daily duty” Woodrow Wilson

STEP 3: You must study the word of God daily to increase your spiritual growth. Joshua 1:8 which says” Study this book of instruction continually, meditate on it day and night so you will be sure to obey everything in it. Only then will you prosper and succeed in all you do”.

“Sow an act, and you reap a habit. Sow a habit, and you reap a character. Sow a character, and you reap a destiny”. Charles Reade

STEP 4: Again you must be prayerful and even pray for your enemies also. Philippians 4:16 says, “Don’t worry about anything, instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need and thank him for all he has one”.
“Silence is the virtue of fools”. Francis Bacon

STEP 5: You must believe in the efficacy of the anointing oil. Believing in the anointing means allowing the pouring of oil on God’s servant to perform the following:
For beautifying oneself …. Ruth 3:3 and Psalm 104:15
For healing …….. Luke 10:43, James 5:14
For dedicating officials to God ……. Exodus 29:7, 1 Samuel 10:1, 1Kings 19:16
For dedicating things to God ……..  Genesis 28:18, Exodus 40:9-11

“God is a circle whose center is everywhere and circumference is nowhere” Empedocles

STEP 6: You must allow or invoke the Angels of God to fight on your behalf. Angels are ministering spirits sent by God to protect and deliver messages to his children. Psalm 91: 11 says” For he will order his angels to protect you whenever you go”.

“Advice is seldom welcome; and those who want it the most, always like the least”. Lord Chesterfield.

STEP 7: Always think positively and prepare for the worse. By so doing, do good all the time in order to conquer the enemy or evil. Romans 12:21 reads; “Don’t let evil conquer you, but conquer evil by doing good”.

“What we have to learn to do, we learn by doing”. Aristotle

STEP 8: Your enemies may employ all the skills to downplay you, but in all things do not be intimidated by their acts or actions. Philippians 1:28 reads; “Don’t be intimidated in any way by your enemies. This will be a sign to them that they are going to be destroyed, but that you are going to be saved, even by God himself.”

“The storms of life are intended to make us better, not bitter”. John Hagee.

STEP 9: Always let hymns and praise be on your lips all the time. “…………………I will sing in spirit, and I will also sing in words that I understand.” I Corinthians 14:5
“Music, the greatest good that mortals know. And all of heaven we have below”. Joseph Addison

STEP 10: Never forsake the gathering of the saints or congregation. “And let us not neglect our meeting together, as some people do, but encourage one another, especially now that the day of his returning is drawing near”. Hebrews 10:25

“Change is not possible until you accept responsibility for yourself”. John Hagee

STEP 11: You must exercise your power in you by Christ Jesus.
The power to select ……………. The word power means authority to have dominion, control over all things. “What do you want me to do for you?” Jesus asked.
“My rabbi, *”the blind man said, “I want to see!”. Mark 10:51. Beloved what do you want God to do for you? This means that Jesus gave him the power to select.  So therefore with faith and believe you can exercise the power of selection through Christ Jesus.

The power to be yourself …………. Jesus gave you the power to be yourself. “So I am willing to endure anything if it will bring salvation and eternal glory in Christ Jesus to those God has chosen”. 2 Timothy 2:10

The power to heir all things ……….  The word says he has made as Kings and Priests. “I tell you the truth, you can say this mountain, ‘May you be lifted up and thrown into the sea, ‘ and it will happen. But you must really believe it will happen and have no doubt in your heart”. Mark 11:23

“Power wears down the man who doesn’t have it”. Giulio Andreotti

STEP 12: You must honor tithes to safeguard your life. Malachi 3:10 reads, “Bring all the tithes into the store house so there will be enough food in my temple.
If you do it says the Lord of Heaven’s Armies. I will open the windows of heaven or you. I will pour out a blessing so great you won’t have enough room to take it in! Try it! Put me to the test!

“He who gives makes himself richer, for his own gift opens to him the gift of God”. William Barclay

STEP 13: Beloved you must know God’s purpose for you life and wait patiently for it to manifest. “For I know the plans I have for you, “says the Lord. “They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and hope”. Jeremiah 29:11

“Winning starts with beginning”. Robett Schucler

STEP 14: You must practice and encourage the golden rule of life. “Do to others whatever you would like them to do to you. This is the essence of all that is taught in the law and the prophets.” Matthew 7:12

“To profit from good advice requires more wisdom than to give it.”          Churtson Collins

STEP 15: Learn to recite the word of God all the time. Micah 7:8
“Do not gloat over me, my enemies! For though I fall, I will rise again. Though I sit in darkness, the Lord will be my light.”
“The general who wins the battle makes many calculations in his temple before the battle is fought. The general who loses makes but few calculations beforehand.”             Sun Tzu.

STEP 16: Reach out others with the word of God.”If the righteous are rewarded here on earth, what will happen to wicked enemies?”  Proverbs 11:32

“Success begins when you look out for human needs and reach out for them. For you are nothing and incapable of conquering the enemy if you do not help someone to be great". Ebenezer Zor

STEP 17: Do not love the things of the world but that of the Father in heaven only. “Do not love this world nor the things it offers you, for when you love the world, you do not have the love of the Father in you. For the world offers a craving for physical pleasures, a craving for everything we see, and pride in our achievements and possessions. These are not from the Father, but are from this world”. 1 John 2:15-16.

“Truth is the cry of all, but the game of few”. Bishop George Berkeley

STEP 18: Follow or listen to instructions. “And athletes cannot win the prize unless they follow the rules”. 2 Timothy 2:5.

“Striving for success without hard work is like trying to harvest where you have not planted”. David Bly

STEP 19: You must dislike the seven things of the Lord. “There are six things the Lord hates- no, seven things he detests: haughty eyes, a lying tongue, hands that kill the innocent, a heart that plots evil, feet that race to do wrong, a false witness who pours out lies, a person who sows discord in a family”. Proverbs 6:16-19

“If your lips would keep from slips; Five things observe with care; to whom you speak, of whom you speak, and how and when and where”. Anon

STEP 20: You must always trust in the Lord. Trusting in the Lord means living in the world by believing in His ways not by seeing. “But the people who know their God will be strong and will resist him (the enemy). Daniel 11:32 b

“Commit to the Lord whatever you do, and your plans will succeed”. Proverbs 16:3 (NIV).

Whatever situation you are going through today, by power of Christ Jesus I release you from any form of captivity in Mighty name of Christ Jesus. Amen
You are blessed.

WHEN I FOUND YOU (POEM)

When I found you
I found somebody who cares
When I met you
I realized that, you were sent from God.

When I found
You gave me the reason to live
When I found you
I found the keys to all fears
When I found you
I said ta-ta to others.

When I see you smiling
I discover love and passion to eternity
True love supersede all things
And when I found you
I have found joy.

Socialist Forum asks government not send soldiers to Cote d'Ivoire

The Socialist Forum of Ghana has appealed to the Government not to allow Ghanaian soldiers to participate in any military intervention in Cote d'Ivoire.

Mr Kwesi Adu, Member of the Forum, described the incident in Cote d'Ivoire as travesty and deception of the world.

He said: "It is the deception and orchestration, which some West African leaders would like Ghanaian soldiers to join to install a President with an inconclusive election results".

Addressing a press conference in Accra on Thursday, Mr Adu said if the UN Security Council had adopted the recent decision of the Economic Commission of West African State (ECOWAS) to turn the peacekeepers into partisan fighters, the rationale for which the government agreed to send troops would have been changed.

The press conference was to express concern on the deteriorating situation in Cote d'Ivoire and attempts by some foreign governments and organisations to stimulate civil and military strife in the country.

Mr Adu said West African leaders were demanding an amendment to the role of peacekeeping force from that of peacekeepers - protection and monitoring role - but rather seeking for belligerent and offensive war machine on the side of one of the contending parties.

He said ECOWAS had no evidence to convince the world that the second round of the Ivorian Presidential election results were conclusive and credible because it had failed to send election observer teams to monitor the elections.

"It is an established tradition of ECOWAS to send election observer team[s] to monitor elections in West Africa. In the case of the November 2010 election in Cote d'Ivoire, ECOWAS observer has not been able to publish an interim report, four clear months after the election".

Mr Adu said a report made by Societe Civile Africaine pour la Democratie et l'Assistance Electoral (OSCADAE), a non-governmental organization (NGO), revealed that representatives of President Laurent Gbagbo were denied access to polling stations and ballot boxes were transported by men in military uniform without representatives from the Electoral Commission.

The NGO also indicated that curfew was not observed in the Northern, Western and Central parts of the country and opening of polling stations were delayed for about 30 minutes to an hour.

Mr Adu therefore declared the second round of voting in Cote d'Ivoire as unfair and unclear.
